HISTORY
Ø 1903-Founded in Wakonda, SD by brothers Lucius and Albert Hatch.
Ø 1918-Cyrus Hatch, Lucius’ son, purchased the business and ran the store until his retirement in 1961.
Ø 1946-Cyrus’ sons Ardell and Warren entered the business.
Ø 1969-Warren and Deloris Hatch opened a new store in Yankton, SD. Meanwhile the Wakonda store was closed and the building was donated to the Seniors Citizens Center in Wakonda.
Ø 1974-Ron Hatch, son of Warren and Deloris, entered the business.

At Hatch Furniture it is our goal to help remove the risk and fear from buying furniture. It should be fun! We know our prices are competitive and we will not knowingly be undersold by any other store. It is impossible to buy for less than at Hatch's! If you find the identical item for less at any other store within 30 days of purchase, we will refund the difference plus 10%. We will meet or beat anybody's price. Anybody's - We Guarantee It!
OUR WARRANTY
We warranty your furniture to be free of manufacturing defects for 6 months and will provide in-home repair in our service area if the furniture was delivered by us (clearance as-is items excluded). We also offer extended service contracts that really work. We will make sure you get the full benefit of factory warranties, as Hatch Furniture is the "Factory Authorized" service provider in the area for many of our manufacturers. Please note that manufacturer warranties include parts and labor for set time periods, but none include in-home service or transportation of merchandise to be repaired.
